How to bridge the gap and 3 tips to getting there

With 47 million people quittingn from their jobs over the past two years and 5.4 million of those starting a business last year, regardless of the state of affairs in our big, bad world, there is so much room for opportunity and growth.

It has nothing to do with age or a degree. Not even the title at your previous job really matters. What matters is

A good idea

Passion

Your purpose

What problem does it solve

In the last 10 days alone, my new clients include a lawyer who is ready to tap into her creative side, a serial stay at home mom who is starting a business using the tools and expertise she gained in that 25 year role, a philanthropist who has hosted more events (for FREE) and is taking that know how and launching a lifestyle brand and a GEN Z who is 3 years out of college and ridiculously successful but is miserable and wants to get the word “should” out of his vocabulary.

The world might seem as though it is falling apart, the gas prices at my corner station is $6.49 and two bags of groceries at Trader Joes yesterday was 168 bucks (sans protein).

But you know what that tells me?

We got a problem.

And problems are meant to be solved There are gaps that needs to be filled and it’s your job to figure out how to fill them.

Today, let’s talk about a few tips on how you can bridge those gaps:

Productivity Tip

Send an email to your friends and family and ask them what advice do they always come to you for. Don’t take that information lightly. I would be surprised if you ddidn’t see a pattern in their responses.

Business Tip

As a digital or on-line entrepreneur, do you struggle with content creation? If you are writing a blog, newsletters like these, posting on social media, or have a podcast, I bet there is a ton of stuff there you can repurpose. No need to reinvent the wheel each time, take that same info and just offer a new perspective.

Personal Tip

Whether you are a stay at home mom, a career junkie or a little of both, my advice to you is to know your purpose. Most of the humans I connect with are Gen X’s and Babyboomers. They are no where near being done or even talking about retirement. Those that struggle the most, don’t know their why or their what’s next and when that happens, the decline in their energy can be paralyzing.

Figuring shit out on your own is hard. Doing anything alone is hard!

I couldn’t have overcome some of my roadblocks without the people I turned to. It’s a lonely place to be and if you are looking for a place to figure out your passion, your purpose, or what problem you might be able to solve, I may have just the place to help you do that.

I offer the What’s Next Roadmap community only 4 times a year. The next one is coming up soon. If you are interested, you can learn more about it here

If you are not a group person, I get it! I also do 1:1 and right now I have only one spot open. If you are interested in that, click here.
